PROLOGUE

Scientist, Steven Huewith worked hard for the United States Government. His job revolved around eliminating the TXPC virus that inflicted every known man on the planet with a condition that shrank the host down to an average size of 5 feet 3 inches tall since the 2010 outbreak. Little is known about the origin of the virus and why it only effected men.

Several years of funding and research had proven entirely meaningless. Five years of impractical procedures, followed by ten years of ineffective manipulations and mutations was all it took to create the illusion of a goal that appeared all but attainable. It was enough to flush any hardened scientist's morale down the toilet. It seemed all hope was lost... until the latest batch of testing results came back.

Steven jumped out of his seat in a burst of unrelenting joy, "It's completed! We've finally done it! Prototype HSX Sample B came back 100% positive! Karen, inform the front office. We've done it!"

"Yes sir, Mr.Huewith!"

The tall blonde clopped down the hallway as fast as her little high heel's could take her, informing the front desk that a new mark in history was being drawn today.

As the wind carried news of the newly published "Cure", questions arose about the distribution of the precious medicine. Although, as word got out it soon became indisputable that an all out discharge of the drug was imminent. The drugs would be shipped out immediately.

Within days crates filled to the brim with anti-viral drugs were shipped throughout the entire world. Military marked trucks flooded the streets by the hundreds, passing the 'Cure' to any empty-handed man left without a bottle. It soon appeared the return of the modern day man was right amongst us.

Month 1 Post Distribution

Little to no signs of positive progress arose from the crowds of increasingly flustered citizens. People of every country were not only beginning to question the effectiveness of "The Cure", but their trust in their own governments.

Men were urged to take extra doses to insure that the full potential of the drug was met.

Month 2 Post Distribution

Concern quickly turned into hostility. Riots began to break loose all throughout America, and many other countries were reported in the same condition. The hopes and dreams of every man was carried to the highest peaks in the sky, only to be dropped, as if their hearts and souls were mere playthings.

Month 5 Post Distribution

Life soon settled back into the way it once was: A world filled with women averaging an inch taller than their male counterparts. It was once universally accepted as the way of life, though now it looked to be a part of a permanent trait in the human species.

Mr.Huewith tirelessly examined the once thought of 'Cure' drug. He could not for the life of him figure out WHY the test had come back positive. It was, after all, an antibiotic of the actual TXPC virus. False positive results in antibiotics were primarily accepted as physically impossible in the scientific community. Something was not right, but he could not quite place his finger on exactly what it was.

Month 7 Post Distribution

The drug itself was a mutated version of the TXPC virus, which was once thought to be dead so that the human body could absorb the dead cells and learn how to combat against the actual virus. 'Cure' was indeed still alive, although it proved to be completely harmless to men, it could be, and was, transferred to every woman on the planet. It was airborne contagious.

It had taken seven months for the 'benefits' of Cure to be seen in society. Although it might have been oblivious to the average person, the effects were still apparent, and men were walking incubators for the NEW TXPC virus.

Women everywhere were beginning to feel... different. Their energy levels had increased, as well as their libido. Most shrugged it off as having too much sugar, or have slept well, but when their friends, and their friends friends all agreed in unison that they felt better than they ever had, more questions began to arise.
